More and Various Ideas

Back Next

On this page, I will bring you more and different ideas that I have had.
(I have literally dozens of ideas, many on an almost daily basis. Some might be good, some could be bad, and some are probably too complex to be practical for a web page.)

I don't want to tell you what those ideas might be, someone else might take the ball and run with it. Suffice it to say that if you want to see new ideas or services, this is the page that you should check first. I will generally give you a brief overview of what the idea entails, and then provide a link.

I have wanted - for a long time now - to do some "program-vs.-program" testing, but never found the time for it. I have tired of hearing one student or chess friend say one thing, then hearing the completely opposite point of view from someone else. Therefore, I decided to make time and do some testing of my own! I start of with two of the most popular programs available today.

Program - versus - program  Test games.

I have definitely thought about - for a very long time - having a page that is permanently dedicated to annotated games. But NOT your everyday, ordinary, annotated games. (I have many pages like this.)

No - what I wanted was a page dedicated SPECIFICALLY to annotated games ...
that I generated for my various book reviews. "One page to house them, one page to hold them. One page to find them, one page to bring them all together, ... and in the ____ness, bind them!"
(Ha-ha! Just a little joke.)
  {I am a huge "Lord of The Rings" fan. Can you tell?}

But seriously, I have wanted to have one page that basically serves as a reference page for the games that I annotate ... that are directly connected to my various book reviews. So... here it is!

Annotated chess games
that are directly connected to my various book reviews

I have many more ideas for this web page ... I won't give away any ideas here, but you will just have to keep watching to see what develops. This page will also serve as a "catch-all" ... I will add any new ideas or categories here, especially if I am not sure where else they fit into my web site.
